Toolkit 2 - Character Design: Design Bible

I think its obvious from your design bible that you have a strong colour and design sense. Your character designs are appealing and effectively capture the essence and design constraints of your theme and setting. Your central character, expressed through dynamic poses and animated expression sheets, is engaging and evokes an sense of fun. However I feel Marlowe the seahorse needs more development and it would have been good to see her expression sheets, as well as gestures for how both characters interact.

Your environments also evoke your theme well and compliment the characters, both in terms of colour and style. However I am disappointed not to see any storyboards. I feel you have created an engaging world and characters, but without any sense of narrative. I think it is definitely worth choreographing a dance sequence featuring these characters, to really bring this world to life.

Overall then, a well presented and appealing design bible that requires a few tweaks to fully complete it, so that it can fully demonstrate your storytelling skills. - Justin
