Hey Annie - I've been thinking about your challenge - and about your Premise project in general and I've been having some ideas in terms of maybe pulling everything together in a rather meta-way... take a look at these animations...
I can imagine an approach when you put the 'problem' of your premise project at the centre of your film, so we see an artist trying to decide on which character to bring to life in 3D, and all these different characters you've design vying for their life - so after you've completed this challenge, you've then got to 'pick one' to take forwards, but some of the other characters are unhappy about it and try and show you their various attack moves or special powers etc in their bid to 'be the one'. It's as if your sketchbook is auditioning for the movie - if that makes any sense at all? I can imagine it being a mix of 2D animation (your drawings lip-synching to a cast of voice-actors) and you having to negotiate with them as you take 'your' favourite forwards... Does any of that make sense, I wonder? Let me know :)
